I am pleased to announce several significant staffing changes to significantly augment our
Underwriting team.

Shannon Ferris has accepted our offer of employment and will join us December 9th as an
Underwriter. Shannon will report to Denise Buckley and underwrite a full breadth of files.
Shannon brings 8 years of progressively more senior administration and underwriting
experience. A graduate of Algonquin’s Business Administration program and Seneca’s
Financial Services Underwriting post graduate program, Shannon has spent the majority of her
career to date administering and underwriting both non-conforming and conforming files.
Shannon has previously worked at Wells Fargo, TD and Investors Group in increasingly senior
roles.

In addition, Dianne Ferrier has been promoted to the role of Underwriter. Dianne will be
responsible for underwriting a full breadth of newly originated files as well as managing a team
responsible for all mortgage renewals. Dianne holds a B.A. from York University having joined
Magenta in December 2008 after a 16 year career with TD Canada Trust in Toronto. Dianne
was a Senior Credit Analyst with TD responsible for restructuring and approving exceptions to
the Bank’s underwriting platform.
These staffing changes return our underwriting capabilities to full capacity and will markedly
increase the depth and responsiveness of our team.
