Timothy Upson

Timothy is the Director of Analytics at Magenta and has been with the team since January 2021. Prior to joining Magenta, Timothy worked in hedge fund administration and operational risk management roles in Halifax. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University with specializations in finance and analytics, respectively. He recently finished an MSc in analytics from the same institution, where his research focused around machine learning, text analytics and behavioural analytics. Tim has been a CFA charterholder since 2018.
